SINGH IS BLIING will finish with 71 crore nett business and is a loser. The losses are not as big as BROTHERS but still will be in the 10-15 crore region. The business of SINGH IS BLIING till date is as follows.

The film is the biggest grosser of Akshay Kumar in East Punjab with business of 12 crore nett but even that is not good as SINGH IS KINNG grossed 9.50 crore nett plus seven years back and business has grown multi fold since then. The overseas business of $4.25 million is the highest for an Akshay Kumar film since HOUSEFULL 2 which did $6 million

SINGH IS BLIING grossed 10 crore nett in its second week taking its ten day business to 69.50 crore nett. The drop in the second week is a huge 83% with the only saving grace being that the fall is not as big as BROTHERS which fell a humongous 91% in week two.

The film will become the highest grossing film ever for Akshay Kumar in East Punjab as its business stands at 11.58 crore nett in two weeks. The best is 11.79 crore nett of HOLIDAY - A SOLDIER IS NEVER OFF DUTY which SINGH IS BLIING will surpass in the third weekend. This is still an under performance as the circuit as grown by leaps and in the last two years and SINGH IS KINNG had grossed a huge 9.61 crore nett in 2008 which would be 20 crore nett plus today.

The business in Mumbai circuit will stay below SINGH IS KINNG by around 20%. SINGH IS BLIING will finish its business around the 72-73 crore nett mark and a distributor share of 36 crore which is a poor return for a 90 crore film.

SINGH IS BLIING grossed 1.10 crore nett on its second Monday. The second weekend business is 8.10 crore nett in four days. The ten day business of SINGH IS BLIING is as follows.

The second week trend is not bad considering how badly it dropped on the weekdays in the first week but the damage was done there and holding business in week two at low levels is of no help. The second week will do business of 10.50 crore nett taking it to 70 crore nett in two weeks.

SINGH IS BLIING had a huge drop in its second weekend of around 85%. The final first week collections were 59.41 crore nett with Mumbai being hugely disappointing. The ten day business of SINGH IS BLIING over is as follows.

The second weekend saw 2 crore nett coming from Delhi/UP, 1.40 crore nett in East Punjab and 1.50 crore nett in Mumbai. The film should gross around 10 crore nett plus in its second week.

SINGH IS BLIING had another big fall on day eight as it grossed around 1.50-1.60 crore nett. The collections have fallen badly in East Punjab also with just 25 lakhs nett from 2.65 crore nett in day one though that was a national holiday. The collections in Delhi/UP are 45 lakhs with Mumbai in the same range.

The film is hardly collecting in Southern and Eastern India (Bihar better than rest). The total of the film is eight days is 63.50 crore nett and though there will be growth on Saturday it will hardly help as the collections are at a low level now. The weekend can go to around 6 crore nett.

The film has basically not performed and the only plus if it can be called one is that the crash is not as bad as BROTHERS which grossed 6 crore nett in the whole of the second week. SINGH IS BLIING will finish with business of around 75 crore nett.

SINGH IS BLIING has made little impact at the box office despite getting a pretty good weekend due to the holiday on day one. The film has grossed around 62 crore nett in week one with collections dropping badly from Monday onwards. The Sunday business of just 14.50 crore nett signalled a downfall but still the film was expected to hold a better better in North India due to the type of film.

The film has grossed 9.50 crore nett in its best circuit East Punjab but that is less than the first week figure of TANU WEDS MANU RETURNS. In Delhi /UP the film has grossed around 15 crore nett which is average. The figures in Mumbai of 17 crore nett are poor.

The Mumbai figure is the lowest for an Akshay Kumar starrer this year. GABBAR IS BACK, BROTHERS and even BABY were all higher. There has been a huge 70% reduction of shows and so an 80% drop week on week is the best it can hope for and even that will not be easy.

SINGH IS BLIING dropped further on Tuesday with collections going down another 15%. The surprise is how the film is coming down in North. The business in Delhi/UP will not reach WELCOME BACK level even though content had more for the region. The business of SINGH IS BLIING over the first five days is as follows.

The first week will be around 62.50 crore nett. The way it has fared on Monday and Tuesday the second week will see huge drop.

SINGH IS BLIING saw a heavy fall on Monday with collections down around 70%. The first day was a national holiday; so even if we take fair value of around 12 crore nett, it is still a drop of over 50% which spells big trouble for the rest of the run of the film. The film was also badly hit in East Punjab and Delhi/UP and these circuits were the main hope for the film. Mumbai circuit saw the film almost totally crash out as collections came to 1.35 crore nett on Monday from 5.25 crore nett on Friday.

SINGH IS BLIING had a fair first weekend aided by the national holiday on day one. The film has done well in Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan and CI but rest if the circuits average with Mysore and Tamil Nadu/Kerala being poor. The business of SINGH IS BLIING over the first weekend is as follows.

The film will need a solid 7-8 crore nett on Monday but it may be difficult as the trend is not so strong in many circuits. The weekend collections are 2 crore nett less than BROTHERS but it should hold better than that film due to North India.

SINGH IS BLIING was decent on Saturday. The drop is 30% from Friday and basically it has to reverse that and on Sunday and show growrh in that range. The business of SINGH IS BLIING over the first two days is as follows.

The problem for the film is Mumbai circuit. The two day figures are less than Holiday in Mumbai which was released on a normal weekend. Gujarat/Saurashtra is doing decent but is not at the level which it could have been resulting in better figures for Mumbai circuit.

SINGH IS BLIING grossed 18.25 crore nett on day one. It is the second highest first day collection of the year though if it was not a holiday the collections would be lower than ABCD 2 and WELCOME BACK. In the all time list the film is 15th highest ever with similar numbers to films like KRRISH 3 and JAI HO. It is the highest ever for an Akshay Kumar starrer.

The film has collected well though ideally a 29 crore nett plus number was needed so that the second day could have stayed around 14-15 crore nett which would have been good. It can still happen but if its the normal drop after such a holiday then it will be hard.

The film was very good in Delhi/UP, East Punjab and Rajasthan, good in CP Berar, CI, Bihar and Gujarat/saurashtra but elsewhere business was just decent and on a holiday that is not good enough. The film is going to find it hard to work in dome areas due to the very Punjabi content but a strong hold in Delhi and Punjab is important because if these don't hold then others don't have much of a chance.
