Sooraj Pancholi is juggling with eight scripts, waiting till he decides what to do next before turning to 'godfather' Salman Khan for his advice

Pancholi is in no hurry to return to the studio. The 24-year-old actor
admitted that he has 10 scripts in hand and likes eight of them. But he
has yet to sign on the dotted line. One of these films could be
helmed by Remo D'Souza, who is currently busy with his superhero
fantasy, A Flying Jatt, featuring Tiger Shroff. “Yes, Remo sir wants to
narrate a story to me but we are yet to meet. He is busy with his dance
reality show. Once he's done with that we'll connect. I'm looking
forward to listening to the script,“ asserts Sooraj, shrugging off the
speculation that Ajay Devgn could be doing an extended cameo in it. “I
have no idea, but he's a superstar and who wouldn't want to share screen
space with Ajay sir.“
And what about 'godfather' Salman Khan? Has he got back with another offer? Sooraj points out that Salman too has been busy with his TV show, Bigg Boss Season 9, along with his upcoming films. “We haven't met since Hero released. Deciding on your second film is a tough decision. I definitely want to do another action film, and a love story. The content-driven subjects can wait till I am a little more experienced. Once I decide, I will ask Salman sir for his opinion. Even if the film rolls in mid 2016, I should have a release by the year end,“ says the actor, who has been using the time to polish up on his martial arts routine.
So, what went wrong with the much-hyped Hero remake? Sooraj diplomatically points out that his debut film worked for him since his performance was appreciated. “Even my parents (Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab) liked it and thought I had done a fair job for a first-timer. And I haven't changed a bit since. Yes, I am getting a lot more attention now but I am not a star, not a star, not a star,“ he reiterates.
And is Athiya a steady date, a steady date, a steady date? Sooraj retorts, “We were never dating. In fact, a lot of people wanted to know why we were not. I don't think we will ever date because we don't have those kind of feelings for each other. But we are good friends and discuss the offers that we are getting.“ Any chance of them pairing up again soon? He laughs, “Even the audience needs a break from us.“
Buzz is, sister Sana is ready to give acting a go? He refutes the rumour, “No never! Sana doesn't want to act in films, her interest is architecture.“
