MALLIKA SHERAWAT: Chauffeur please
Driving in Mumbai can be a nightmare with all the traffic. So, once I got the money from my first film, Murder, I decided to make my life a little more comfortable. I didn't want to be sitting behind the wheel forever, so I hired a chauffeur, and it was a smoother ride.

SONAKSHI SINHA: Framed as a memento
I got my first pay cheque when I volunteered as an usher at a fashion week. I was still in college then and I was being paid Rs 500 a day. By the time the event ended, I had earned Rs 3000. I gave the cheque to my parents. My mother has framed it and kept it as a memento. I gave my first pay cheque from Dabangg, my debut film, to my parents too, after donating a part of it to Salman's (Khan) charity foundation. Till date, every cheque I get, goes to my parents. I have few needs so whenever I need money, I ask them.

JACQUELINE FERNANDEZ: Bag it!
With my first pay cheque from Aladin I bought a handbag. It cost plenty because it was a luxury brand. I also took my family out for dinner. My parents were really proud of me.

TUSSHAR KAPOOR: Earn interest
I got my first pay cheque from Vashu Bhagnani for Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. And my mom (Shobha Kapoor) immediately deposited it in the bank, so I didn't spend it. She wanted my first salary to earn interest. I respected her wishes, but with my pocket money, I threw a party at a nightclub to which I invited everyone after the film was declared a hit. My parents gifted me the latest BMW model and I felt on top of the world.

DIANA PENTY: Food for thought
My first pay cheque, of Rs 5000, came from a modelling assignment. I was still in college, and though I don't remember the details, I'm quite sure I spent it on food and clothes.

NEIL NITIN MUKESH: Pay off a loan
Like a dutiful son, I handed over my first pay cheque from Johnny Gaddaar to my parents but with the second one, from Aa Dekhen Zara, I paid off a loan I had taken to buy a car.

VIDYA BALAN: Ring, ring
With the amount I received from my debut film Parineeta, I bought my sister, Priya, a pair of earrings. They weren't real gold or diamonds, just artificial trinkets, but I was thrilled I could buy her something with money that I had earned. This realisation brought along a sense of achievement. I can still feel the thrill!
PATRALEKHAA: Bank it?
It was money I got for a TV commercial, it wasn't much but since I had earned it, it felt great. I gave it to my dad who banked it safely. My Citylights remuneration, I splurged on a vacation in Europe.
