The three Khans in B-Town — Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman — are all known to have a great sense of humour, always ribbing each other publicly and privately. In his latest Diwali ad for a shopping portal, Aamir takes a potshot at SRK. Says a source, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is celebrating 20 years in 2015 and there’s a scene in the film during the climax, where Shah Rukh Khan says ‘Palat, palat’ when Kajol is walking away from him. In his ad, Aamir re-creates the scene in his own style. He tells his friends, ‘Khade rahen hum woh palti nahi... Khade rahen hum woh palti nahi, Humne kahan — Palat! Palat! Palat! Woh palti nahin. Aisa bhi kya hai unke phone pe jo Shah Rukh ki yeh line unpe chalti nahi?’ And his friends burst into laughter. The implication being — the attractive Diwali offers, the portal is giving, is more tempting.” Now it’s over to SRK to revert with his witticisms, too.
