Kareena Kapoor Khan has received the perfect birthday gift from across the border this year

Kareena Kapoor wrapped up
the Delhi schedule for R Balki's rom-com, Ki and Ka, on Saturday but
stayed back in the capital over the weekend to bring in her 35th
birthday. “Saif flew down with Bebo's sister, Karisma, and bestie, Amrita
Arora Ladak. Malaika Arora Khan was also there for the all-nighter, as
was Kareena's stylist and make-up artist Mallika Bhatt and family
friend, Mashhoor Amrohi,“ says a source.
The party began with a casual lunch in the garden of the Pataudi Palace with the Begum admitting that she felt like a royal even in shorts and tank tops. The party went on till midnight. There was wine and lots of selfies. Amrita described it as a “birthday weekend equals laughter riot moment...“.
Meanwhile, Mirror has learnt that Bebo got the perfect birthday gift a few days ago, when Pakistani writer-director, Shoaib Mansoor whose repertoire boasts of Anglo-Pakistani film, Khuda Kay Liye and Urdu-drama, Bol, flew down for talks with the actress on an upcoming heroine-centric film, which takes off next year. Though they have yet to sign on the dotted line, Bebo, who was last seen in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, opposite Salman Khan, a film which addressed the Indo-Pak border issue too, will be in Malik's woman-centric next.
In an interview to Mirror (July 17), the glam Hindi film heroine had admitted that she wants to go back to doing roles like Chameli and Omkara. “Over the last two years I've chosen to be a part of only commercial successes. I'd just got married, wanted time to travel and be home with my husband, so I opted to do just one-two films a year. Now that I'm settled, I want to work with new, interesting directors. After 15 years, I've done the rounds with all the Khans, and now it's time to get out of my comfort zone,“ she'd asserted.
With Shoaib on the borderline, Bebo's in good company.
