Bollywood actress Geeta Basra and Indian cricket's ace spinner Harbhajan Singh will tie the knot on October 29 in Punjab among close friends and family. It will be an out-and-out Punjabi wedding, an elaborate five-day affair, comprising the choora ceremony, nuptials and sangeet. The wedding reception will be held in Delhi on November 1. Bhajji's friends and players of the Indian cricket team will be attending the same, as the date falls during the short break of the forthcoming India-South Africa series.

Though Geeta hails from London and is currently based in Mumbai, no pre or post wedding bashes have been scheduled in Mumbai so far. “It's going to be a family affair. The couple believes that the wedding shouldn't be a dikhava so the invitations will be limited to close friends only,“ revealed a friend of theirs.

The source further added, “The wedding preparations have begun. Geeta's family will be coming to India from London soon. Two Mumbai-based designers have been finalised to design her wedding trousseau.“
