The title track of Anees Bazmee's Welcome Back was released last week in the presence of actors John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and singer-composer Mika Singh. The only one who wasn't in high spirits at the event was Anu Malik, who has composed two songs for the comic caper.

A source close to the film revealed that Anu Malik had left the launch in a huff, unhappy with the extra attention given to Mika Singh. “Before the show started, the organisers had a briefing session with all the artists to discuss the flow chart. Anu who walked in late, demanded certain changes but the organisers stuck to the original plan. The host invited the actors first, followed by Mika, who he introduced at length. This didn't go down well with Anuji and by the time his name was announced, he had left the venue. Mika later performed on the title track and the cast joined him.“

When contacted Anu said, “My mom was not keeping well so I had to leave early. I have composed two songs for the film which will release soon. I wish them all the best.“
