Shamita Shetty, who announced her retirement from the movies in June 2011, has now crashed on the sets of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, following a freak accident. Shamita is one of the contestants this season.

Things weren't going well for the model-turned-interior designer during rehearsals with her choreographer Deepak Singh. During one of the moves, the two collided, head-on. “Luckily, they weren't practising a flip or lift but Shamita still suffered a hairline fracture on her nose. She underwent a minor surgery and received two stitches. Deepak got away with a swollen eyebrow but no cuts,“ revealed a source from the sets.

The unit were expecting Shamita to go on a week-long break but she has promised to be back on Wednesday. Her worried sister, Shilpa Shetty, confirmed the news saying. “It is terrible news. Shamita has a nasal fracture. But my sister is super strong and will be back on her feet soon. She's looking so much better in just 24 hours.“

The 36-year-old Shamita was last seen on another TV reality show, Bigg Boss, in its third season in 2009.
