Shah Rukh Khan's trusted spot-boy Subhash dada lost his battle to cancer yesterday. Subhash had been with SRK for nearly two decades. Stars, media or family visiting SRK were always greeted first by Subhash, who then got you an audience with his master. Whether it was getting the visitor a chair or a glass of water, Subhash moved with ligtening speed, making everyone feel comfortable.

He had taken ill for quite a few months now. When the doctors said his illness was terminal, SRK and Gauri tried to do everything they could to save him.

Though SRK is in Bulgaria now and wasn't around for the funeral, one hears that he was devastated when he heard of Subhash's demise.
