Veteran filmmaker Muzaffar
Ali is playing a revolutionary in Jaanisaar, a film that he has also
directed. The cast includes Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas and fashion
entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi.
We have learnt that the scenes featuring Muzaffar Ali have been directed by none other than his filmmaker son, Shaad Ali (Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli). Muzaffar Ali,who plays a revolutionary, had to participate in some action scenes that also involved horse-riding. He was immensely grateful and happy that Shaad volunteered to shoot these scenes.
Muzaffar says, “Being the director and an actor in my own film, I initially wondered how I would go about directing scenes that involved me to also act. I'm glad that Shaad agreed to step in. He was protective of me and would tell me to use a body double for the action scenes since he was concerned about my health.“
