If sources are to be believed, Ranveer Singh sprang a surprise on rumoured ladylove Deepika Padukone as he picked her up from the international airport in the wee hours of Monday.

Eyewitnesses suggest that the actor landed at the airport with a bouquet and waited for about three hours in his car before it was time for the actress to step out of the arrival gate.

Says the source, “Ranveer was watching a movie at a suburban theatre and his film got over around 1 am. After that, he rushed to the airport to pick up Deepika, who was returning from a holiday abroad. The actor had a bunch of pink flowers in hand and appeared happy.”

Since the actor had reached the airport well in advance, he waited around patiently before Deepika finally arrived at 4 am, adds the source.

The couple, who has regularly been spotted stealing private moments with each other, is currently working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani.
