He’s played a loverboy in Saawariya, a casanova in Bachna Ae Haseeno and an obsessed aashiq in Rockstar. Ranbir Kapoor’s done all of it and more. He’s all set to take the intense love route yet again with Tamasha and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil coming back-to-back. But ask him what he wants to do next and he will take you by surprise.

While most of his contemporaries want to do a slick action thriller or a well-mounted biopic, Ranbir wants to do something absolutely different. “Mujhe ek villain ka role karna hai. I have always wanted to play one but I have never got the opportunity to do that,” says Ranbir.

He does have certain conditions, though. “There should be no logic as to why he’s a villain. I don’t want people to know that he is one. He must be quite unlike regular villains. Suave and charismatic,” Ranbir added.

The actor has even planned a plot for the character as well. “He should be rich throughout the film, have a hot girl with him and have some cool cars. He just has to die at the end. Mujhe waisi ek film karni hai,” he laughs. Now, we wonder if any filmmaker would approach him with such a role. If not, Ranbir, you have only your chocolate boy looks to blame!
