British actor-comedian Russell Brand, known for his eccentric personality, controversial life and short-lived marriage to singer Katy Perry, was in the city for his standup gig recently. We spotted actress Kalki Koechlin seated in the general audience watching Brand perform with the eagerness of a child. Though she didn't meet him post the show, about the experience she stated, “His improv stuff (improvisational comedy) was the best. He's so sharp, quick-witted and spontaneous... not to mention sexy!“ She even blogged, “I've got the Russell Brand blues, only looking out for metrosexual hippies now.“
