It was my fault-Ajay Devgn on the undecided status of Kajol’s next film

Kajol returns to the screen after a long maternity
break this year in Dilwale, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. What after that,
is the big question as the shooting of Dilwale wraps soon.
There were reports that hubby Ajay Devgn was going to produce a film for her. But that film has undergone some changes. In script as well as the director. Ajay confirms, “I am just waiting for her shooting for Dilwale to get over this month. Now we are not doing the film with Ram Madhvani or Ashwni Dhir. I will reveal the director’s name later.”
When asked if he was still going ahead with the project Ram Madhvani had brought to her, Ajay shakes his head. He says, “No, it’s completely different. What happened was my fault. Without hearing the complete and final draft, I went ahead and started the pre-production which cost me quite a lot. I did so, as the shooting was going to start just 10 days later. When I heard the final draft, I was not happy. I realised that this wasn’t going to work at all. We had a discussion and then I had to take a call whether to lose all that money we’d spent or go ahead with the film even though we are not happy with it. We decided not to take chances because we felt the film would not work in that form. So I stopped the film.”
