Randeep Hooda’s recent interview to a magazine has boggled our minds. He made some strange comments on women, relationships and men who hit on him. Puzzled? So are we. Read on...

On young girls
I don’t like young girls. I find them annoying. They talk too much. They have no idea of sexuality. I find them asexual. They all look like boys. They’re overtly cute and unneccessarily insensitive.

On his single status
My status is in a perennial sense of confusion. I’m one of those unlucky people. I can’t make a choice. It’s hard because I am an artiste.

On being in demand
I find a lot more women throwing themselves at me, in a polite way. My attitude is pretty constant, so it doesn’t affect me. I am good at being myself.

On being marriage material
I am very much marriage material. I’m good with elders and children. You just got to let me be, I will keep coming back.

On gay men
Men have always hit on me. I just hug them and get rid of the physical tension they might be feeling. I don’t get hit on directly. I feel a sense of reverence from the gay community.
