At a recent awards night, when most men were wearing sharp suits and beaming politely, Ranveer Singh stole their thunder by arriving in a loud outfit. And even while everyone around was discussing his satorial choice, the actor himself had another agenda. He spotted his teenage idol Akshay Kumar and literally gave him chase. An onlooker says, “Ranveer whooped in the air on spotting Akshay. He landed right next to the Bollywood superstar and said, 'Akshay sir, I have seen many of your films as a teenager. I had even landed on the sets of your film Keemat (1998) and took an autograph from you. Sir, I still have that autograph saved with me.'“ Akshay couldn't resist Ranveer's infectious charm and when the younger actor insisted on seeing him off to his car, he indulged him.
