Madhuri Dixit is taking a break from the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, so she can focus on a new project. The Dhak dhak girl won't be returning to the show which is in its eighth season. She has been judging it for three seasons.

"I will be back shortly with probably something even more exciting," the actress who was last seen in Anubhav Sinha's film, Gulab Gang, promises.

The channel insists that it was keen on continuing its relationship with Madhuri. "Our team is exploring a show that will suit her persona," revealed CEO Raj Nayak. The judges for this season are Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde.
