Papa Kapoor on Ranbir’s ‘roast’ by Arjun Kapoor at the recently concluded IIFA

Ajun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh let loose a few stingers Ranbir Kapoor’s way over his recent flops — Roy and Bombay Velvet at the IIFA awards.

RK’s dad, Rishi retorts, “It’s all right, yaar. It is okay to run down anyone for a few laughs in this industry. Ranbir is going through that phase in his career when he is facing flak for his choice of films, and rightly so. He has made some mistakes. He will emerge a stronger, wiser and more learned actor after his suicidal career decisions.”

He adds, “All actors go through lean phases. It’s part and parcel of growing as an actor.” Rishi has become more forgiving. In the past, he has ripped Deepika and Sonam for taking off on Ranbir on Koffee With Karan.
