Neil Nitin Mukesh, whose career headed southwards after a hattrick of flops seems to be slowly coming back in the game. After Salman Khan got him a role in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, it is his David director Bejoy Nambiar, who's given him a part in his upcoming drama, the Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer Wazir.

A source close to the development told Mirror that Neil will be seen in a pivotal role in Wazir. Said the source: "The actor will play a negative role in the movie. It will be credited as a special appearance. It was Bejoy's idea to get the Johnny Gaddaar actor on board. Since they've worked with each other on David, they share a comfortable equation. When Bejoy narrated the details, Neil instantly agreed to do the film and has already shot for his portions."

The film is currently in the post-production stage. Added the source, "The second teaser of the film will be unveiled with Dil Dhadakne Do. Although a release date is not final, it is likely to open in winter this year."

John Abraham has never done a guest appearance in any film. Well, at least not for an outside producer. He did make a friendly appearance in his own production Vicky Donor a few years ago. But now, he will be seen in a cameo for Farhan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Wazir, directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

Wazir has another first — Akhtar and Bachchan will be sharing screen space for the first time. The last time they came together was for Farhan’s directorial venture, Lakshya.

The makers are very keen to have this as a surprise element in the film and therefore his character is being kept hush-hush. Farhan plays a cop for the first time in the film. The teaser of the film is set to be released with Dil Dhadakne Do, which also stars Farhan.
