Sex comedy Hunterrr, which was cleared by the Censor
Board with an ‘A’ rating and major cuts, is all set for a television
premiere.
There’s only one hitch. The raunchy comedy has not yet been cleared for a television/satellite screening. And yet the promotions for the TV premiere of Hunterrr have already begun on Star Plus! How come?
A source from the Board shares, “So far Hunterrr hasn’t come to us for a television or satellite clearance. The film had an ‘A’ certification for its theatrical release. Now the film needs to be further cut and modified to get a ‘UA’ certificate. Without a ‘UA’ rating no film can be screened on television. Until we see the cuts and agree on a ‘UA’ certification, how can the film’s telecast be announced?”
Only Star Plus can answer this question. The channel remained unavailable for comment.
