The Amitabh Bachchan-Deepika Padukone starrer Piku has not only won rave reviews, it has won hearts galore and is on its way to becoming a big hit. Few people know that the title role was first offered to Parineeti Chopra. At that time Pari had already signed Daawat-E-Ishq which was also about the father-daughter relationship, she did not want to do another movie on similar lines, so she turned down the film. Her loss was Deepika’s gain. To make matters worse, Daawat-E-Ishq tanked while Piku is soaring. Any regrets, Pari?
