DNA (May 13, 2015)

Bombay Velvet is Anurag Kashyap’s most ambitious project to date and he wanted to make it special. Though he has done several cameo appearances for his friends, for this one, he convinced his parents to face the camera. The director wanted to have his parents in this period film. His parents are extremely shy, never having faced the camera so it took a lot of cajoling to make them agree to this. They finally agreed and will be seen at the beginning of the film in one of the shots filmed in the club where they are dressed as club extras. Maybe he is learning from Karan Johar that it is all about loving your parents!
