The just released Marathi film, Aga Bai Arechyaa 2, which saw Sunil Lulla of Eros International collaborate with producer Narendra Firodia's Anushka Motion Pictures and co-producer Bela Shinde's Kedar Shinde Productions will have three more sequels.

The clean family entertainer stars Sonali Kulkarni, known in Bollywood for her movies like Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahta Hai and Singham among many others. The versatile actress, who has acted in regional cinema also, besides Italian and English films, sports a glamorous avatar in her latest Marathi film, and literally brings her character to life with her impeccable comic timing. The story of a sensitive and lovely girl is narrated in a simple and heart-warming manner, for which Sonali credits her director. Considering that the first film, Aga Bai Arechyaa was a big hit, anticipation around the sequel is predictably high.

This film also re-unites director Kedar Shinde and actor Dilip Prabhavalkar, after their successful association, the tele-serial Shreeyut Gangadhar Tipre, scripted by the latter. Interestingly,  Aga Bai Arechyaa 2 is also based on a short story written by the actor, who played Mahatma Gandhi in Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Young composer Nishad has created the soundtrack for the film that also features Dharam Gohil and Surabhi Hande.

A special screening was held for the industry recently, and was also attended by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who praised Kedar's latest venture. After the screening, Sunil Lulla offered to not only distribute the film, but also make three more movies of this franchise.
