It was Anupam Kher who brought forth the fact that Shah Rukh Khan is penning down a book for his daughter called To Suhana, On Acting, From Papa. It was also on The Anupam Kher Show - Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai on Colors, that Akshay Kumar revealed that during his struggling days, he used to sell kundan jewellery at Mohammad Ali Road. The same show had Alia Bhatt let slip that she bought a pair of shoes for Mahesh Bhatt from her first paycheque because her father didn't like wearing shoes. The show acquainted the viewers with industry veterans Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri, who reminisced about their NSD days when Om used to woo girls with flowers and chocolates and Naseer never had to resort to such tactics as he would charm the girls with his chaste English.

While SRK also spoke about the amount of grief he gave to his bankers and accountants by signing his cheques as 'Lots of Love, Shah Rukh', Aditya Roy Kapur divulged how he faked stomach aches and even polio to avoid going to school. While these are only a few anecdotes amongst many others, the show bore testimony of many tales of perseverance and hard work.
