Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal starrer, the satirical comedy Dharam Sankat Mein has been embroiled in a bit of a controversy. Naseer, who will be seen as the guru of a spiritual organisation in the film says no religion or group will find anything objectionable in the film as ‘whatever is shown in it is factual and correct’. The film talks about the journey of a Hindu man who finds out about his adopted past involving a Muslim biological parenthood. However, even before the release, a poster of the film has caused much ruckus. In one of the posters in the film, Annu Kapoor was dressed in a cap that resembled a Muslim cap or a ‘taqiyah’. A certain section of the Muslim community took offence to it and met IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producer’s Association) to air their greivances. After which, IMPAA sent a letter to the makers asking them to promptly incorporate the changes to avoid any more controversy, until it releases.
