Real-life siblings have shared screen space before in Bollywood, but Emraan Hashmi isn’t too comfortable with the idea of working with his cousin Alia Bhatt.

He’s mighty impressed with her work so far, though. “She was phenomenal in Highway,” he says, adding, “I’m extremely proud of Alia and the way she has conducted herself.” Prod some more and he narrates an anecdote. “Alia was annoyed with me for the longest time for not having watched her debut film Student Of The Year. It was only when I got a DVD and saw the film that she started talking to me. I later called her up to congratulate her and told her that she was miles ahead of me. I wasn’t half as good as she was in my debut film,” he explains.

Ask him if they will ever work together and he shoots back, “A brother and sister playing a romantic lead is not really possible. It would be downright weird.”
