British action director Greg Powell, who has done the
stunts for Fast & Furious 6, Skyfall and several Harry Potter films,
has been roped in for Salman Khan’s very intricate action scenes in
Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Barjatya and ‘stunts’ may sound like chalk and cheese, but as a source from the director’s team reveals, “This time there will be a lot of fights…fun fights. Salman will be shown doing fencing, something unseen in a Hindi film since Pankaj Parasher’s Rajkumar.” According to the source, Salman is having a ball with the fight scenes in the film.
“Salman hates gruesome violence. He feels it puts off his younger fans, the kids, specially and their parents. The fights in PRDP are the kind we see in the big Hollywood fantasies, flamboyant and fabulous.”
B-Town action director Kaushal Moses has also been roped in for the Barjatya film.
