On March 18, it was reported that Abhishek Kapoor, who had written and directed Rock On (2008), moved the Bombay High Court against the movie's sequel claiming that he has not been credited for the story by producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Abhishek, who directed Rock On starring Farhan and Arjun Rampal, insists that he had started to develop the concept for the script of the sequel with writer Pubali Chaudhari on September 4, 2011, but now the producer duo has credited only Pubali for the script, leaving him out. The matter was due to come up for hearing in a Mumbai court on March 18. However, the hearing has been postponed to April 7. We texted all the concerned parties to hear what they have to say in this context. While Abhishek did not wish to comment, Ritesh said that he will revert at the right time.
