Bollywood's romance with Delhi has been captured in films but debutante filmmaker Japinder Kaur will connect with the Capital very differently with her upcoming flick Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend. The film's title can be misconstrued but Kaur maintains that though it might have wicked shades, it doesn't portray Delhi women in a bad light. “According to me, not only Delhi but everywhere, girlfriends can be cruel. The hotter the girls, the more zaalim they appear to guys. But we have not shown Delhi girls in a negative light. In fact, we have portrayed them interestingly. They are extremely fashionable and stylish,“ she says.

Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend, starring Divyendu Sharma, Ira Dubey, Jackie Shroff, Prachi Mishra and Pradhuman Singh, is produced by Manjeet Kaur and Tarnpreet Singh. The film's music is on T-series and is distributed by Waves Cinema. It is slated for a March 20 release.
