DNA (February 11, 2015)

The last time Saif Ali Khan was in a Dharma production was in 2009. The film, Kurbaan tanked. But we guess now’s as good a time as any for second chances. And for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, his next as a director, Karan Johar was looking for someone to play Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s husband. Karan recently met Saif and narrated the script to him. We hear the actor gave his nod after much deliberation, in spite of recently rubbishing reports that he wasn’t on board the film. Wonder how things are going to pan out, given that Saif’s Begum Kareena Kapoor and ARB don’t share warm vibes.
