Shah Rukh Khan has collaborated with artist Chintan Upadhyay to create unique canvases, which will be auctioned off on January 6 in Mumbai. The actor has painted a quote that reads: “Our soul is healed by children... (it is said). Let’s look after our healers.”
Khan is one of many prominent personalities who have collaborated with some of the biggest names in the world of art to create these works of art. These canvases will be auctioned off for Khushii, an NGO, during a one-day preview. Khushii is led by a team of philanthropists and is headed by cricketer Kapil Dev.
Apart from SRK, prominent personalities like Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, MC Mary Kom, Chetan Bhagat, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and Rekha and Vishal Bhardwaj, have also take out time to wield the brush.
India Inc — the likes of Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Pinky Reddy, Tarini Jindal, Amit Kalyani, Arti Kirloskar
and many others — are lending strong support.
Some of the most known names from the world of art including Akbar Padamsee, Satish Gupta, Anjolie Ela Menon, Paresh Maity, Jayasri Burman Bose Krishnamachari, Manu Parekh, and others have blended their own creative styles to accommodate the creativity of the people collaborating with them.
