The Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer HAWAIZAADA has been awarded with a 'U' certificate by the Censor Board. The following changes were made in the film, as asked by the Board:

1. The word 'Dhakianusi' from 'Dhakianusi Hanuman' phrase was muted and replced with 'Prachin'
2. The word 'Bloody' from 'Bloody Indian' phrase was muted and replaced with 'Crazy'

The duration of the film is 157  minutes. The film releases on January 30, 2015
