The grapevine has it that actor-producer Sohail Khan is caught up in legal tangles as his manager delayed payment of salaries to his staff. One of the five disgruntled employees is said to sought redressal by moving the Labour court.
A source says, “The five employee are awaiting their dues of nearly Rs 1 lakh each from Sohail’s office. It has been over four months now and one of them decided to approach the police and has also filed a petition with the Labour court. The person’s lawyer has also sent two notices to the actor’s manager but hasn’t got any response so far.”
Another source clarifies that Sohail has already given the money to his manager for disbursal. “This issue had been pending for a long time and Sohail had handed over a part of the pending dues to his manager to be given to his staff. But, they have not received a single penny so far and hence, one of them decided to initiate legal action,” adds the source.
Sohail, however, rubbished the allegations.
