Happy Birthday Salman Khan: What happened at the biggest birthday bash of the year?

Whether he likes it or not, (and we suspect the latter
is true) Salman Khan’s birthday is an event. On the eve of his birthday
(December 26), all the Mercedes, Bentleys and BMWs headed from Mumbai
to Panvel to the star’s farmhouse. Salman’s birthday has very few
invitees, about 80 per cent of the guests are people who just drop in to
wish the actor. Salman was walking up and down the party area for most
part of the night, with all the guests claiming his attention. He was in
good spirits laughing and was overheard telling one of the guests, “I
am 27. I would have said 19. But then I would have a lot of growing up
to do. So I prefer late twenties. It’s a good age.”
Friends, friends, friends!
The actor had ordered vanity vans in case more guests wanted to stay over than his massive home could accommodate. His friends Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgn and Sajid Nadiadwala seemed part of the welcome committee, they stood at the entrance. Or perhaps they just wanted to be away from the crowds. Riteish Deshmukh was sans his wife Genelia who is currently staying with her mom. Karan Johar was doing what he does better than anyone else...making jokes, dancing and posing with all the people who were grabbing him to pout for selfies. Sangram Singh was seen following Karan (rather being pushed by girlfriend Payal Rohatgi) to ask for an appointment, ‘Sir, main aapse milna chahta hoon’. Priyanka Chopra was walking hand-in-hand with her bestie Arpita, who is soon heading off to New Zealand for her honeymoon. Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur looked as much in love as a newly wedded couple, no problem in that marriage clearly.
The Bigg Boss crowd
Salman can’t seem to shake them. The Bigg Boss folks were present in big numbers. Armaan Kohli, Diandra Soares, Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon, Deepshikha, Praneet Bhatt. Every direction you looked, there was a contestant from the reality show.
Into the night...
The bubbly flowed all night and Salman refused to let his friends leave “before sunrise”. The DJ played songs from Salman’s Kick (with Sajid Nadiadwala doing the by-now famous dance steps) to Happy New Year to many of Akshay and Ranbir’s hit songs.
