ACTION JACKSON had a fair Monday of around 4.75 crore nett taking its total to nearly 33.50 crore
nett. The trend on Monday vis-a-vis the weekend is okay with a 50% drop from first day collections but it is coming off a weekend which was on the lower side.

Overall the film will manage average business business in Mumbai, Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI, Nizam and Bihar but the other circuits will be poor. North India is where the film has suffered as even the big centres of UP like Lucknow and Kanpur are not up to the mark. The Delhi and Punjab business is bad.

The  film will probably do a first week business of around 42 crore nett but that is the sort of number it should have achieved in the first weekend if it was to emerge as a success at the box office..

ACTION JACKSON has had the best ratio of business in single screens in 2014. The film collected around a little under 15 crore nett from multiplexes over the weekend making it a 50-50% ratio for multiplexes and single screens.

The previous best collector in the single screens as a ratio this year was JAI HO with a 60-40 divide, the latter being the single screens share. Amongst the other grossers KICK and SINGHAM RETURNS had 37% and 36% respectively coming from single screens, HOLIDAY was 30% and HAPPY NEW YEAR was 28%

It follows the trend of other Prabhu Dheva films which tend to do much better at single screens. WANTED in 2009 had 65% of its business coming from single screens and ROWDY RATHORE was 45% from single screens. The average for the year is 75-25% divide in favour of multiplexes. .
