Amongst the Kapoor clan, Ranbir Kapoor is probably the one who doesn’t have a nickname. Karisma is Lolo, Kareena is Bebo and veterans like Rishi and Randhir also have a nickname, Chintu and Dabboo respectively. When Ranbir was asked why he doesn’t have one, he said that his father had told him nicknames do not command respect. “My father’s nickname Chintu is awkward considering his age now,” he told Kapil Sharma when he visited the sets of Comedy Nights. When prodded, he confessed that his grandfather Raj Kapoor used to call him Gunglu! That’s sweet but imagine calling him Gunglu Kapoor!
