ARPITA'S EMOTIONAL SPEECH AT HER WEDDING
The young bride wrote down a
little speech for her family and wanted to go up on stage and read it
out to them. But she got so emotional that she started to choke. She
went up to Priyanka Chopra and requested her to read it on her behalf.
PC then came up on stage and told the guests, Arpita is afraid she might 'break down, so I am going to read out what she has to say...' “I am
the luckiest girl to be brought up in a family like mine,“ Arpita wrote in her speech, adding that her brothers are
her pillars of strength. “Sohail bhai and I shared the same room until
he got married - he's like a friend to me. Arbaaz bhai is like my guide,
he always told me what's good and what's bad. Salman bhai though, has
the biggest heart. For him, I can do no wrong. Everything I did, he was
there to support me.“
Arpita also said she considers herself lucky to have a father like Salim, and mothers like Salma and Helen

SALMAN KHAN CALLS 'KATRINA KAPOOR' ON STAGE
Salman Khan, who was clearly
in high spirits, wasted no opportunity to pull ex-girlfriend Katrina
Kaif 's leg. When the song Chikni Chameli played, Salman took to the
mike and announced “Katrina Kaif, Katrina Kaif tumhara gaana baj raha
hai. Please come on stage.“ When a visibly embarrassed Kat chose to hide
behind Karan Johar and
pretended to ignore Salman, he announced, “Karan please come here, and
bring Katrina Kaif on stage...' When Kat refused to budge, Salman said,
“Ok fine, not Katrina Kaif. Katrina Kapoor, please come on stage!“ A
flustered Kat had no choice but to grin and bear it. When she finally
walked towards the stage, Salman joked, “Mai kya karoon... I gave you a
chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be 'Katrina Kapoor'!“

SALMAN, ARBAAZ, SOHAIL AND SAJID DO THE FAMOUS TOWEL STEP
Salman Khan made a whacky entry on stage on a cycle. Brothers Arbaaz and Sohail joined him later, along with Sajid Nadiadwala, and the four grooved to Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din.The funny bit was when they used one long piece of cloth to do Salman's famous towel step

ARBAAZ AND SON WERE THE REAL STARS
It started pouring in Hyderabad at around 8 pm and so, the party had to be moved indoors. Mika was all set with his electrifying performance. However, he was interrupted every now and then by Arbaaz, who just couldn't stop singing. The guests couldn't get enough of him either because he's a brilliant singer. Then came his son Arhaan Khan, who floored everyone with his style and moves. He stripped his jacket off and threw it at the ladies, and had everyone screaming `Once more!' A guest was heard saying, “He will soon give Shahid and Hrithik a run for their money.“

MIKA SINGH BELTED OUT SOME OF HIS POPULAR NUMBERS FOR THE NEWLY WEDS
Mika Singh is happy
to have got the opportunity to make Arpita Khan's big
day all the more memorable. The singer, who has lent his voice to many
popular songs over the years, was specially invited by Salman and Sohail
Khan to perform at their sister's wedding.
Mika has been close to the superstar and has always held the entire Khan family in high regard. Quite naturally, he was more than glad to sing on Arpita's big day. True to his flamboyant style, he put up a lively performance and entertained the guests at the star-studded event, as he belted out his hit numbers.
Turns out, the singer had back-to-back shows lined up this week, but he postponed them in order to accommodate the wedding. What's more, Mika has apparently been enjoying a string of successful shows overseas. His recent show in Houston, USA reportedly saw heavy footfalls. Despite the fact that it was held on a weekday, his fans showed up for the event in big numbers.

AAMIR KHAN SUNG AATI KYA KHANDALA, SALMAN KHAN CROONED JUMMA CHUMMA
The picturesque Falaknuma Palace turned into a Bollywood studio late on Tuesday night with the who's who of the Hindi film industry singing and dancing to chartbusters. Aamir Khan sang Aati kya Khandala while Salman Khan crooned Jumma Chumma at the after wedding party of the latter's sister Arpita. Post 10 pm showers didn't dampen the mood as Aamir and wife Kiran Rao shook a leg. A fireworks display at 1 am brought the curtains down.
Salman personally served his favorite Hyderabadi Haleem to the guests. Pathar ka Gosht, Hyderabadi biryani, Dahi kebab were among the 100-plus delicacies from different parts of the country on the menu. His guests started leaving on Wednesday morning and by noon, most had left, with only 50 staying back for lunch. These included Union Minister Dr T Subbarami Reddy's daughter Pinky and her husband Sanjay Reddy. The last guests packed up at 3pm with no complaints about the service or security.
Only ten members from both families were at the hotel in the evening which was booked till midnight.
Fans thronged the hotel on Tuesday to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars and the newly-weds but a four-tier security from the entrance to the hotel half a kilometre away kept them at bay. On Wednesday, life and traffic around Falaknuma in the Old City was back to normal with only six cops on duty at the hotel entranc.
