UNGLI grossed poorly on day one giving it little chance of box office success. The director's last film KURBAAN in 2009 had also fared poorly and the way UNGLI is going, it may not even reach the business of KURBAAN. The approx figures of the weeks releases are as follows.

ZID fared slightly better in places like CP Berar, CI and Nizam but its business in multiplex dominated circuits was a disaster. ZED PLUS was very poor all over.
