After making his directorial debut with Salman Khan’s Kick and tasting tremendous success, Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to start working on his second film. No, it is not a sequel to Kick, instead, Sajid will be remaking the Ram Charan Teja-Kajal Aggarwal’s 2007 Telugu blockbuster Magadheera.

Earlier, the lead role was rumoured to be bagged by Hrithik Roshan, but later Shahid’s name was suggested. Clearing the air, Nadiadwala confirmed that Shahid will indeed be reprising Ram Charan Teja’s role in the Hindi remake. The Kick director is yet to confirm the leading lady for his film and is currently working on the script. With Shahid’s prior commitments to Vikas Bahl’s Shandaar, Raj and Krishna DK’s Farzi and Abhishek Chaubey’s untitled project, it looks like fans will have to wait for quite some time to see the Haider actor in a warrior avatar in the remake.
