Shah Rukh Khan (left) descended on the sets of Ramesh Sippy’s (right) Shimla Mirchi at Mehboob Studio moments after the lead actor, Rajkummar Rao (centre) bumped into him and informed him about the shoot. “Sippy sir was shooting an interesting sequence around a coffee shop set. Shah Rukh walked in, surprising everyone. He hung around for nearly 20 minutes. They were both seen having an animated conversation. He was keen to meet Hema Malini, who also stars in the film, but couldn’t as it was her off day,” a unit hand says.
