Enlarge ImageRanbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have always maintained a steady silence over their relationship status though the two have been seeing each other for about two years now and have moved into a sea-facing penthouse on Carter Road in Bandra.

The lovebirds are shelling out Rs 15 lakh per month as rent for their love nest. A source tells us, “Katrina wants to share the rent with Ranbir.”

All this while, the Jagga Jassos actor was living with his parents, Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, at their ancestral bungalow Krishna Raj in Pali Hill, Bandra. Kat on the other hand, was been living independently ever since she moved to the city. Since she has done all this before, she has been taking care of all the paperwork.

Ever since the two have finalised their new abode, they have been quite busy getting the house ready. Right from picking up souvenirs from their trips to making the house feng shui-compliant, the couple is doing it all, so that things are peaceful and harmonious. A source close to the Dhoom 3 babe told us, “Kat is investing a lot of time reading up a lot about home decor on various sites, magazines and books for their new home.”

We hear that Ranbir and Kat will throw a house-warming party at the end of next week where among others, Karan Johar is going to be one of the first few guests who will get a glimpse of their new place.
