Trust Hrithik Roshan to
bring out the fun side of Bollywood. The actor, who has performed some
daring stunts in director Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang, has been
challenging his friends from the industry to take up the `Bang Bang
dare'. And true to their sporting nature, stars like Shah Rukh Khan,
Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor, among
others have executed their respective dares.
Always game for a challenge, Priyanka posted a video of her performing handstand pushups wearing high heels. Meanwhile, not one to believe in half measures, Ranveer sported the Krrish mask and danced to Main Aisa Kyun Hoon on Mumbai's Linking Road. While Shah Rukh's video showed his rigorous workout, Farhan's video saw him cycling down Carter Road in Mumbai wearing the skydiving suit from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Naturally, some of these videos have gone viral. Hrithik says, “These dares are an example of how the industry can come together and give love. I believe in healthy competition in an environment where you do your best for yourself and then give your best to others' lives as well.“
Excited about his star friends' support, the actor adds, “All my friends have gone out of their way to prove just this. It speaks of the love they have for me and the true spirit of my industry. For me, the dare is bigger than me and my movie.“
Bang Bang, produced by Fox Star Studios, releases Thursday, October 2.
