A double celebration is on the cards for Salman Khan’s family next month. His
sister, Arpita, scheduled to marry her longtime boyfriend in early 2015,
will now exchange wedding vows with Aayush Sharma on November 18. The
date has been advanced to coincide with the 50th anniversary of parents,
Salim and Salma Khan.
A source close to the Khans said, “Salim Khan decided that Arpita’s marriage be solemnised on November 18, the same day he got married 50 years ago, so that it can be a sort of double bonanza for the family.”
The wedding will be held at Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. Arpita and Aayush, a Delhi-based businessman, have reportedly been in a relationship for almost a year now. Arpita has been spending time with the boy’s parents and had posted some photographs of her with them on a holiday in Shimla.
It is learnt that the Khans will be travelling to Goa in the first week of November and on their return, start intense wedding preparations.
