Anupam Kher has known Shah Rukh Khan for over 20 years and has done over 10 films with him, mostly as his father. His last full-fledged appearance as his father was in the iconic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. We have now learnt that Anupam will once again be playing Shah Rukh's father in his upcoming dance heist film, Happy New Year, in what we heard Anupam calls an 'emotional appearance'. We learnt that the story revolves around an incident involving Shah Rukh's father in the film, for which Anupam is playing the cameo. Anupam is quite fond of Shah Rukh and thus, be it for emotional reasons or just for the fact that he may be Shah Rukh's lucky mascot, we eagerly await to see them back on screen together.
