It happened last year too. So, it isn't shocking that Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan have decided to throw their Diwali parties tonight, on the occasion of Laxmi Puja. An industry source, who is heading to both the bashes, says, “We are used to it. Last year, we started at the Bachchan's home at night and ended up at Aamir's place by morning. His party doesn't wind up till 6 the next morning, anyway.“

Shah Rukh Khan and his Happy New Year gang may stay faithful to Abhishek and not go to Aamir's at all. However, some B-Town actors like Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Farhan Akhtar are likely to put in an appearance at both parties. Last year, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were reportedly stuck to each other like glue at Jalsa. And they later headed to Aamir's home, to continue with the revelry. PC apparently spent the better part of her visit to Aamir's in the superstar's bathroom. We heard she had a midnight caller who refused to put the phone down.

Last night, Jeetendra and Rishi Kapoor celebrated minus their sons Tusshar and Ranbir. Coincidentally, both the star sons are shooting in Thailand for their respective films.

The nice thing is that the Bachchans and Aamir will make courtesy calls to invite each other for their respective bashes. Whether the hosts of both parties will ultimately leave their homes to go to the other's place is something one doesn't know.
