Television show 24 that marked Anil Kapoor's foray into TV will be relaunched tonight. The show that was aired over weekends earlier on Colors, will now be a daily, airing from Monday to Saturday at 9 pm on Rishtey.

It revolves around Anti Terrorist Unit Chief Jaisingh Rathod (Anil Kapoor), who races against time to save the country's prime ministerial candidate Aditya Singhania from an assassination bid. The thriller also features Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Tisca Chopra, Anita Raaj, Mandira Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam, among others.

Says Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors, “Ever since the first season of 24 ended in December 2013, audiences have been reaching out to us, requesting for a re-run.We are now happy to announce that the show will be aired again.“

Anil says, “Since it's my first stint on television, 24 is special to me.Very rarely have I experienced such creative satisfaction, both as an actor and a producer. We were fortunate that some of the best talents in show business came together on this show. Everyone, right from the actors to the technicians, put in their 200%. Those who missed out on some episodes earlier or want to relive the entire journey, will now get to enjoy the thrill again.“

So, will there be a second season of the show sometime soon? “We are already working on it,“ confirms Anil.
