Geeta Basra, girlfriend of Harbhajan Singh, has not taken kindly to the wives and girlfriends of Team India being blamed for our cricketers' poor performance in the recent Test series in England. She feels that putting the blame squarely on her Bollywood colleague and fellow WAG, Anushka Sharma for 'distracting' Virat Kohli, by accompanying him to the series, is silly. Back from London just two days ago, Geeta said, “Players go through ups and downs. Finding a scapegoat is unfair.“

Incidentally, it has come to light that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly denied allegations of them restricting the WAGs on tours.
