KICK grossed a huge 14 crore nett on Thursday taking its first week
to an extraordinary 155 crore nett. The film has done extraordinary
business in the last three days where it was hit in the first four days
due to pre Eid. UP, Nizam/Andhra and Gujarat have all record huge
numbers in the last three days.
The best performance of the film has come in Rajasthan and Bihar with the latter setting a new record for first week collections as it grossed 4.50 crore nett which is more than the lifetime collections of most big films. Rajasthan was around 12 crore nett. The film has been unstoppable in UP over the last two days and it was no different on Thursday as single screens remained house full for the third day in a row.
KICK has put up a number on Thursday (day 7) which hardly any films have put on Monday. In fact only 15 odd films have collected a similar or higher amount on day one.
The film is on course to be the second highest grossing film ever and may even hit the 225 crore nett mark but that will be determined by the business in week two. DHOOM 3 business is out of range as the first week collection of KICK is 10% short of the former's business.
