Ranveer Singh and director Shaad Ali have apparently come together to shoot an ad film. It is being said that the actor recently shot a commercial for a noodle brand; the ad was directed by Ali. What’s more, after his rap performance in a condom ad, Ranveer will apparently rap another song in this commercial as well.

To add to this, noted lyricist Gulzar is also involved in the project; he is said to have written the lyrics of the song for this commercial. When contacted, Gulzar confirmed his participation in the project. “I take on such projects once in a while and if my friends need me to help them out, I do it for them,’’ he said. However, he refused to divulge anything else. “You can ask Shaad Ali for more details,” he said.

It may be pointed out that Gulzar has collaborated with Shaad Ali for Kill Dill and many other projects, including Bunty Aur Babli. The music for the song in the commercial has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Ranveer Singh’s spokesperson declined to comment on the story, while Shaad Ali and all three music directors were unavailable for comment.
