This is Arjun Kapoor's introduction shot in Sanjay Kapoor's Tevar, which co-stars Sonakshi Sinha. He plays a kabaddi player. Says Arjun, "The entire film was shot in Agra and Mathura. This particular picture was taken during the Taj Ganj schedule. It is a locale rarely seen in Hindi films."
The sequence has the actor roof-hopping in the crowded by-lanes of Taj Ganj, before taking this leap of faith.
"This is my opening scene. Although it seems quite close, we were a good 400 meters away from the Taj Mahal. I had to jump from one rooftop to the next. The still photographer got this image spot on, so much that it looks photoshopped," raves the actor.
Shooting near the crowded tourist attraction posed many challenges. "Initially, there was a lot of star-gazers," reminisces Arjun.
"But we spent over a month there and slowly the curiosity wore off. The locals stopped bothering us after a while. In fact, some of them are seen in certain sequences. We turned them into actors."
